Tyres  for  2012  are announced:

These are available from Peter Brinkworth (pbrinkwoAtblueyonder.co.uk). Postage costs are UK rates. Overseas rates may be higher. For those people only using their karts for track and demonstration session, tyre options remain open. Tyres to be used for the Retro Racer series and racing at the Donington Historic Festival are:

Class I Vintage. Tyres are free but rear tyres to be 4.10/3.50-5. Examples are Carlisle, Cheng Shin or Duro. Cheng Shin are available from Tal-Ko or TK motorcycles - see notes below.
Duro rears will be available from the club in mid-January at £15 each, shipping extra.

Class I Historic. As 2011. Rears are Duro 11x600-5, Fronts are Duro 10x3.60-5. If 4 inch diameter fronts are used then they are free. Tyres are available now. Cost per set is £65 plus £15 shipping.

Class I Classic. Rears to be Duro 11x7.10-5, Fronts to be Duro 10x4.50-5.
Tyres will be available mid-January. Cost per set is £75 plus £15 shipping.

Class IV Vintage. Tyres are free but rear tyres to be 4.10/3.50-5. Examples are Carlisle, Cheng Shin or Duro. Cheng Shin are available from Tal-Ko or TK motorcycles - see notes below.

Tony Wilkins is voted in as Chairman of the British Historic Kart Club following Wyatt Stanley's resignation.  Wyatt will be able to stand for re-election at AGM in January 2012 if he so wishes.
